What you can expect as part of the ScapeFu Tribe

1.  We will not spam your email inbox with bogus offers, nor will we ever sell your information to another company. Being a member of the ScapeFu Tribe means being a member of our family and we will treat you as such. You have our word.

2.  We will occasionally (typically, 4-5 times a month) send you an email with unique and valuable tips and tricks for you to try on your planted aquarium/aquascape. We hope these will be valuable to you and that you let us know what you think.

3.  You will get an email alert every time we make a post on ScapeFu and on a ScapeFu Podcast episode release. This will likely be 1-2 times per week at most.

4.  Most Sunday mornings, you will receive the Aquascaping School Weekly– a newsletter containing a summary of that week’s happenings, planted aquarium/aquascaping news, product reviews, and in-depth articles on aquascaping subjects of interest to you.

5.  On occasion, we will raffle off an amazing product only to the ScapeFu Tribe members. This won’t be very often but when we do, we guarantee that you will want to win the prize.

6.  Lastly, very occasionally, we may receive special discounts on products that we think are awesome for planted aquarium/aquascaping hobbyists. We would have tried these products and felt they are worthy of telling you about them. We promise we won’t send you anything we are not buying ourselves.

We are also working hard to bring you more value and entertainment for being a member of the ScapeFu Tribe. We want you to feel part of a growing (pun intended) community of fellow hobbyists that love the planted aquarium/aquascaping hobby.

I am wondering if something is wrong with my diffuser for my co2 sensor I have had two bottles 20 pounds each of Co2, and both bottles have constantly ran until they were empty ,and I have a sensor set at 6.8 it has stayed at 7.4 consistently ,and hasn’t gone under that yet, it keeps running what do you think is wrong

Finally! A site that is genuine! Most everything else I find seems geared to products. I often send questions to manufacturers, and as long as they are basic questions about their equipment, I usually get an answer. But if I ask something that’s tricky, they just ignore me. For example, I wanted to know EXACTLY about the info that I just read from you that you present in a perfectly logical and straightforward way — in particular I had questions about how to understand just what the drop checker was telling me. After all, I reasoned, it’s only a color indicator — not a real measuring device. I got nothing back from them. If I had asked how to attach the checker to the tank, or some such thing, I believe I would have received a polite response.

Here’s a question I have that I honestly believe could help some other guy. I set everything up using a pressurized co2 cylinder yesterday and I turned it off last night by unplugging the solenoid ( I haven’t attached it to a timer yet.) This morning I turned it on by plugging the timer back in. And here’s the issue: There was some kind of bubble or something below the bubble counter so that no co2 got into the bubble counter. I had to turn the needle valve way up to get a rush of bubbles and then down to a normal level. So all is well again. But the problem is that the system doesn’t work in an AUTOMAC way anymore — and only my second day! Do I need some kind of one-way valve thingy right below my bubble counter?
